Colombia: Which Civil War?
While 90% of all news from Colombia are on narcotic traffic or guerrilla warefare, more than 80% of all murders have no relation with drugs or the conflict to rule the country

For two weeks in the end of 2004, we've visited the most violent spots in both Bogota and Cali, interviewing more than 40 people such as victims, schoolars, government authorities, workers and directors of NGO's. We've also been in favelas, univerties, politic meetings, and even in the Buen Pastor Prison. What we saw is very much different than what the major papers show.
The results of this project have been already published in the Carta Capital and Caros Amigos magazines, as well in the Agência de Informação Frei Tito para a América Latina Adital (in Spanish) and Worldpress.org (in English) .
